This course provides a solid foundation for understanding the key issues of management and offers a strong, practical focus, including the latest research on what works for managers. Every class session will open with an individual a manager’s dilemma, and students will be asked to put themselves into the shoes of that manager and answer the question, “What would you do?” This learning approach helps students realize that there are a number of responses to any one challenge they will likely encounter in their own professional lives.

課堂討論參與 (50 %): 以小組為單位，各組每周輪流主持一個案分析，題目即課文內的個案題目，限時30分鐘。報告組若有成員缺席，該缺席學生課堂討論與參與成績以零分計。若被指定組別當周沒有準備或派員上台分享，全組成員學期總成績以零分計。
出席 (20 %): 缺席/請假(非公/喪/防疫假)/或遲到15分鐘以上，每次扣20分，達六次(含)以上，學期成績以零分計。若全勤者，此項目得滿分100分。(請公/喪/防疫假假須到學校系統完成請假為準，並列印交給課代，否則視同缺課)
